Career
Interested in joining our team?
Just Be Counseling Services is looking for a Full-Time Outpatient Therapist to join our small, collaborative group practice.
Who We Work With
Our practice works with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, with particular emphasis on trauma in its many forms and supporting neurodivergent clients in navigating a world that is not always designed for them.
Clinicians at our practice often work with clients experiencing and navigating:
- Anxiety and depression
- Chronic and traumatic stress
- Grief and loss
- Disordered eating
- Chronic illness and/or chronic pain
- Life transitions and adjustments
- Relationship difficulties
- ADHD and Autism
- Burnout, including Autistic burnout
- LGBTQIA+ exploration, navigation, and affirmation
Each of our clinicians have different specialties and work with different age groups. This position offers the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and families for those with experience in this area, though it is not a job requirement.
Who We’re Looking For
Applicants must already hold an active North Carolina license in good standing as a LCMHCA, LCMHC, LCSWA, LCSW, LMFTA, or LMFT.
We are looking for a skilled clinician whose approach aligns with the values and clinical culture of Just Be Counseling Services.
The ideal clinician:
- Demonstrates excellent clinical skills and strong clinical judgment
- Practices from a trauma-informed perspective
- Is neurodiversity-affirming
- Is LGBTQIA+ affirming
- Practices through an anti-racist and culturally responsive lens
- Is committed to ongoing learning
- Is comfortable balancing autonomous work with consultation and collaboration
- Wants to be part of a small, supportive team environment
We welcome clinicians with varied professional backgrounds and areas of specialization. Applicants do not need expertise in every presenting concern or population served by our practice. We are especially interested in clinicians who are curious and open to learning about presenting concerns that may be less familiar to them.
About the Position
This is a W-2, full-time position offering both in-person and telehealth services, with the majority of clinical work occurring in person.
Clinicians are expected to maintain a full-time caseload of clients and corresponding documentation. Clinicians have autonomy in their day-to-day clinical work while also having regular opportunities for support and connection. Individual clinical consultation/supervision is provided at least monthly, along with a monthly team meeting and access to informal consultation as needed. Clinicians with an LCMHCA license may also have the option to receive supervision toward independent licensure through Just Be.
Benefits & Practice Support
Full-time employees receive a benefits package that includes:
- Paid time off
- Health insurance with an employer contribution
- SIMPLE IRA with employer match
- Continuing education stipend
- Clinical supervision and consultation (offered whether the applicant is a LCMHCA or not)
Just Be handles the administrative side of maintaining an outpatient caseload so that our clinicians can focus on providing high-quality clinical care to their clients.
